Staci Update

Well, I couldn't stand it. I called Staci at 10am this morning to see if they had a bed for her and YES, they did. She sounded great and was very excited. When he checked her Preston's water broke and she was 4cm dialated. So on the road to delivery!!! I will keep you posted as I get word! YAY! Come on Preston and Lily!

Busy, but GREAT weekend

As like any other weekend or day in our life, it was a very busy, but great weekend. We had volleyball practice Friday night and went to the Fall Festival at the YMCA. Early Saturday was Brooke's last volleyball game (unfortunately I had to miss), I had to cheer at Football games, then we had our Volleyball party then on home for Dwayne to run errands to prepare for this coming weekend. Sunday was filled with looking at houses!!! YAY! We have found a couple that sparked our interest, but do have another in mind, so waiting to see about this one. This will be a crazy week, but a short week. We are preparing for our 2nd ever weekend away. We are going the Galveston Bike rally with a bunch from the neighborhood and other friends. We are pretty excited about it. Thanks to Loretta and Ken we are able to go. So, while packing and working we are trying to plan to go when our friend Staci has her twins. So, lots of stuff this week!

House Hunting

Well, we lost our house that we bid on a few weeks ago and of course things have been going terribly wrong here lately with the car. We will keep our heads up and know that something good is coming. We are looking everywhere for our "perfect" house. We had some really good ones that we have seen and keep hoping that when we do find the "one" we will jump on it and definitely get it. We would like to stay in the Tomball School District because it is a wonderful school district. They offer so many adverse electives for the kids that Cy-Fair doesn't. Savannah for instance loves her dance class and then wants to try out for cheerleading next year. Cy-Fair doesn't offer either. They do somewhat have what's called Spirit Club, but nothing like full blown cheerleading. Brooke is in band, on the other hand, most of the other school districts do offer that program. She has been playing volleyball and doing very well. I am sure she will try out next year for the team.

Keep your fingers crossed for us that we will find that "perfect" house. We will definitely have a House Warming Party when we do find it. I am sure we will have many gatherings as much as we like to entertain. Our next home will be perfect for entertaining. I am really interested in starting a "poker night" with friends at least once a month.

Stay tuned and I will keep you posted.
